No Freedom of Speech in France

Since Brigitte Bardot has been fined four times and faces possible imprisonment for statements that are deemed by the French government to “incite racial hatred”, could it happen that if Obama were elected we could loose our freedom of speech, too? Until I read the following article, I didn’t realize that other western countries do not necessarily enjoy the same freedoms we do.
